Eaglemoss starships: STO Tholians, latest Picard ship, prints, and Borg Cube advent calendar updates
Eaglemoss: Hero Collector's shipyards are busy as ever, with newly announced ship models and new preview images aplenty, plus a new line of prints they're working on, and additional previews of their Borg Cube advent calendar. Continue below for all the latest:
First up, the latest issue previewed from Star Trek Online: The Official Starships Collection(ad) is a very atypical one, the Tholian Recluse class carrier(ad). There are very few Tholian ships in canon, so alongside the 22nd century ship(ad) from Enterprise, and the 23rd century ship(ad) from TOS (remastered version, as Eaglemoss have yet to be tempted to do a classic-look release), this is just the third Tholian ship Eaglemoss have made. And a cool design I think it is too, taking the Tholian aesthetic into an interesting variation. This will be issue eighteen in the series, set for release in September. Check out the preview images of the model:

Eaglemoss' Build the Enterprise-D series launches in 2021
Eaglemoss Hero Collector are launching their Star Trek: The Next Generation - Build the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D part-work collection(ad). Following a trial run of the first few issues last year, the series is due for its proper start in February, with sign-ups starting now.
Over 120 issues (!), the collection will build a 70cm long model of the Enterprise-D, with die cast metal parts, and lighting throughout (including nacelles, impulse engines, deflector, windows, and navigation lights). The model can also saucer separate, with independent power supplies in each part so the lights will still function while separated. Everything comes pre-painted, and either clicks or screws into place. Each issue also comes with a magazine (see below for details of that).
Here's a little video showing the model in action:

Having released the three hero ships of Discovery (Discovery, Shenzhou, and Enterprise) at 1:2500 scale pretty swiftly last year, Round 2's Polar Lights are now back with a bigger 1:1000 scale USS Enterprise kit. That makes for a pretty impressive 44cm+ long ship once built. Here's the box art (which seems to be a new style):

Round 2 Models reveal new TOS shuttle and Disco-Enterprise model kits
Round 2 have been considering doing a TOS shuttlecraft kit as far back as 2012, and shelved it for a while after the costs of doing a kit with a full interior became prohibitive. But now they've returned to the idea, and expect to release it the 1:32 scale kit (making it about eleven inches long) later this year! In a preview video on YouTube of lots of forthcoming releases, we got out first look:

Model kits updates: First Discovery kits on the way, and latest reissues
Round 2 have been keen to jump into Discovery, considering kits of multiple ships at multiple scales. The first of those will be the USS Discovery itself, which will be offered first at 1:2500 scale, making it about twelve inches long. It's not yet known when this will be be arriving, but it shouldn't be too far away, as initial box art is now in the wild, and some specialists retailers, including HDA Modelworx, are starting to take pre-orders.

Round 2 are hoping to have this big kit out before the end of the year, and have just recently released the box-art for both the kit itself and the separate lighting kit. Both are in the latest style Star Trek packaging, which has been nicely specified to the ship with a Motion Picture Klingon in the character segment, and V'Ger making a pretty background to the model shots, which are of course emulating the shots of the ship from the movie.

Incredibuilds wooden starship model kits revealed
UPDATE: Dayton has now blogged about these releases, including a description of what he has done in the books:
For both Enterprise editions, I took a similar approach, so you’ll get a brief rundown of the ship and their place in Starfleet history, as well as a look at each filming model’s design and creation for their respective television series. Lots of pictures are jammed into both books, as well.As for the models: The parts pop out of a sheet of wood, and snap together with ease, following the included instructions, which also have suggestions for further crafting projects using the models (some of which are pretty cool as you'll see below). StarTrek.com and Australian retailer Dicebox have released images of both kits, continue below to check them out.
We'll start with the Enterprise-D, which for something made out of flat bits of wood is a pleasingly solid and curvy:

Ship bits: DST Reliant, Eaglemoss concept Enterprise-C, and Moebius Franklin
But first, something we've been waiting for a long time... We have our first look at Diamond Select Toys' next Starships Legends release, the USS Reliant.
The Reliant is the next ship in DST's range of models with lights and sounds, and was announced almost two years ago now. Since then we've not had so much as a tease, and we still don't know when it's actually coming! This image is a "resin prototype" (which doesn't fill one with hope at an imminent release!), and was revealed by the Facebook page of The Toys That Made Us, a new Netflix documentary series about toys, which has a Star Trek episode coming up later in the year.

Round 2 Models: New Oberth class, Klingon BoP, and Defiant, plus recent reissues
Tantalisingly, in a recent blog post they mentioned they are "working on another brand-new kit. It will be big, and probably unexpected" which they expect to release in August. But they're not ready to tell us what it is just yet. They have however announced something smaller already.
On the way is what I believe is the first ever kit of the Oberth class USS Grissom. They are releasing it at 1:1000 scale, in a two-pack of snap-kits with a Klingon Bird of Prey, which is also a new kit.
They have posted photos of mock-ups of both models on their blog, here are a few of those images, but there are many more on the original post, where you can also read about tweaks they will be making to these before the final release.

Blurb for second Discovery novel, and other Dayton Ward updates
It is 2246, ten years prior to the “Battle at the Binary Stars,” and an aggressive contagion is ravaging the food supplies of the remote Federation colony Tarsus IV and the eight thousand people who call it home. Distress signals have been sent, but any meaningful assistance is weeks away. Lieutenant Commander Gabriel Lorca and a small team assigned to a Starfleet monitoring outpost are caught up in the escalating crisis, and bear witness as the colony’s governor, Adrian Kodos, employs an unimaginable solution in order to prevent mass starvation.
While awaiting transfer to her next assignment, Commander Philippa Georgiou is tasked with leading to Tarsus IV a small, hastily assembled group of first responders. It’s hoped this advance party can help stabilize the situation until more aid arrives, but Georgiou and her team discover that they‘re too late—Governor Kodos has already implemented his heinous strategy for extending the colony’s besieged food stores and safeguarding the community’s long-term survival.
In the midst of their rescue mission, Georgiou and Lorca must now hunt for the architect of this horrific tragedy and the man whom history will one day brand “Kodos the Executioner”….
