Bradford Exchange's Transporter Figurine Collection

Bradford Exchange have revealed their latest Star Trek sculpture collection, and have come up with quite a creative format. The "To Boldly Go" Transporter Figurine Collection(ad) will offer up all the main TOS crew on a transporter pad. Each figurine is partially molded in transparent glittery resin, standing on a clear transporter pad base, so when combined with the transporter room display base, which lights up, you get a nice transporter effect. This is brought to life further with sound effects from the transporter base. Continue below to check out the series.

Bradford Exchange launch metal starships collection

Bradford Exchange have launched a new series of starship models, the Cast Metal Star Trek Starship Sculpture Collection(ad), which kicks off with the original USS Enterprise, of course.

Here's Bradford's very enthusiastic description:
Each sculpture shines in a bright golden finish that gloriously brings it to life. As the perfect finishing touch, the gleaming sculptures are permanently attached to the base shaped like the Starfleet Command insignia. This collection is a stunning celebration of groundbreaking spaceship design and it makes a wonderful addition to any STAR TREK decor.

Star Trek Cats statues from Bradford Exchange

Not long ago Chronicle Collectables announced a new range of sculptures based on the Star Trek Cats series, but it turns out their not the only ones in the business for statuesque cats, as Bradford Exchange launched its own range back in March!

Like Chronicle, Bradford are mining TOS, with releases as part of their The Hamilton Collection range of collectable sculptures. Like many of Bradford's lines, the series comes as a subscription. So far four character have been revealed in the collection, called Space Cat Crusaders: Cat-tain Kirk, Mist-purr Spock, Lieutenant Uh-purr-a, and Doc-purr McCoy.

TOS Star Trek coins round-up: Kirk, Cat, Spock, Forever!

A bit of a coins catch-up today, with a look at the latest Star Trek releases from several different mints. Continue below for TV, movie, and even cat inspired pieces!

First up, Captain Kirk returns in the latest release from the Perth Mint's ongoing Star Trek collection. This latest design, from designer Jennifer McKenna, is "endorsed" by William Shatner himself, featuring the planet Saturn and several of its moons in the bridge viewscreen, which Shanter apparently has a "personal fascination" with.

Spectacular new USS Enterprise shaped coin, and other new Star Trek coins

I've got a bunch of Star Trek coin updates for you today, including several different TNG 30th anniversary releases. But we'll start with something really out there.

A few weeks ago the Royal Canadian Mint released, and almost immediately sold out of their latest Star Trek coin - I say coin, but what this really amounts to is a huge silver low relief model of the USS Enterprise. To enforce its coininess, you will find on the underside of the saucer a face value of one-hundred Canadian dollars, and the head of Queen Elizabeth II, plus the year and country of origin.

More 50 Artists 50 Years art revealed, on mugs! Plus other new Trek drink-wear

Hope you're thirsty, as there is quite a variety of new Star Trek drinking vessels and bare-ware around. Continue below for new glasses, bottles, a decanter, and bottle opener. But first, mugs!

I pick mugs first because I believe this latest range of rather lovely artistic designs from Culturenik might well be revealing several pieces of art from the 50 Artists 50 Years exhibition. It has not been confirmed in any of the product descriptions, but we have seen one of the designs in previous previews for that 50th anniversary art collection, all the artists are involved in the collection, and it's hard to believe these have all been commissioned just for use on mugs!

My personal favourite is the glorious comic-book style collection of classic scenes from the original series, which is apparently titled Risk is Our Business!, by Mick Cassidy.

Latest Star Trek stuff around the home

Time for another round up of the latest Star Trek ornaments and gadgets for use around the home. First up, Hallmark have added a fourth Christmas tree decoration to their Star Trek Keepsakes range this year. Available exclusively at Hallmark stores at the launch of this years range in July, will be a Vina figurine.

Joining Vina will be the USS Vengeance, Mr Sulu, and Spock with the Horta. You can get a good look at the others, in my previous report.

Another limited release will be coming from Bif Bang Pow, as a San Diego Comic Con exclusive. This year they will have a second set of coasters, based on Juan Ortiz's TOS retro print series. This follows the first set released at last year's Con. To face off against last year's Enterprise box, this new set comes with a Klingon D7 design.

While these are a Comic Con exclusive, Entertainment Earth are also taking pre-orders, to nab any that are left over after the event in July.

Continue after the jump for another ornament, playing cards, and these from ThinkGeek:

Bradford Exchange's latest Star Trek sculpture is, precious...

Bradford Exchange's latest Star Trek sculpture is kicking off a Star Trek series in their nauseatingly cute Precious Moments range. First in the Star Trek line will be Captain Kirk, with Spock, Uhura, McCoy and more to follow if you sign up to their subscription:

You can see some of Bradford's past efforts in John Tenuto's handy flickr set. Something I found in that gallery was that Funko did a couple of Peanuts Star Trek figures in their Wacky Wobblers range as a Comic Con exclusive in 2007. Snoopy and "Woodspock", cute, but less annoyingly so than Captain Precious:
