Several new items from the TOS TV and movie eras are now available to order from Anovos, the maker of high end Star Trek costume replicas. Continue below to check them out.
First up, something that was previewed at conventions recently, the Wrath of Khan "Starfleet landing party field jacket". The elaborately collared and multi-pocket coat worn by Admiral Kirk in the film, is now available to order, with a long lead time; they're not expected to ship until autumn 2019!
There are lots of details on this piece, which as ever are meticulously recreated referencing originals, and that is no doubt reflected in the certainly-not-a-casual-purchase price of $1500. Alas so far Anovos have only released two images, so detail remain seen from afar (including the Sol Sector Earthbase patch on the sleeve, which sadly can't be seen clearly in either image):

Anovos reveal Discovery USS Enterprise model
Anovos has revealed the third ship in their new range of "studio scale" Discovery starship models, the USS Enterprise - This follows the previously announced USS Shenzhou and USS Discovery. All are created referencing original studio assets of course.
The new look Enterprise is made from polymer resin with steel reinforcement and measures 35 inches long, 16 wide, and 8 tall. 180 LEDs are used to light the model, which includes impulse engines, warp nacelles, formation and anti-collision lights, and windows, including of course the new bridge and mid-saucer windows.
Like the other model in the series, there are some interactive features, with movable and removable sections on this ship being the deflector dish, which can be pulled forward to reveal the internal deflector systems, and the nacelle caps, which can taken off the show the interior workings.
Continue below to check out lots of images of the model (the prototype mind you, subject to change):

Anovos' latest Star Trek uniform replicas
Anovos are diving deep into the Star Trek uniform wardrobe with their latest release, the TOS movie era bomber jacket! Continue below to check out that, and their other recent garments.
First seen worn by Fleet Admiral Morrow in the Search For Spock, but perhaps more prominently worn by Captain Kirk in The Final Frontier, the bomber jacket is one of those curiosities of the upper ranks of Starfleet, who seem to have a bit more variety in their uniforms than the rest of the service.
As ever Anovos have figured out every detail of this design to create their perfect replica. The suede jacket includes the movie-era Starfleet insignia badge, and built in belt buckle (but you'll have to add on your own rank insignia, sold separately). The first batch, which have quickly sold out, are expected to ship early in 2019 (you can sign up to get a notification for future runs though).

Anovos reveal Discovery phaser rifle replica
Anovos have announced their second Star Trek Discovery prop replica, a rather impressive re-creation of the new-look phaser rifle. Like the screen-used props, the rifle is 3D printed, and like all of Anovos' products, is meticulously detailed based on those originals.
The prop will feature several light and interactive features, and comes with a display stand (which is itself inspired by the Golden Gate Bridge apparently).
Pre-orders are open now, for an expected winter release - Arming yourself to deter Klingon invasion will set you back a mere $1500. Continue below for a closer look at all it's features.

Anovos reveals high-end Discovery starship models
Anovos have revealed details of the most elaborate Discovery tie-ins yets, two large filming miniature style replicas of the USS Shenzhou and USS Discovery. Anovos appear to have taken the reins from QMx's previous artisan replica line, with this similar offering of large detailed starships models, with lighting and some internal sets. Continue below to check out all those details.
The USS Shenzhou is the smaller and cheaper of the two models, measuring 26.6" x 16.4" x 4.6", it will set you back a mere $8000. The model features 160 LED lights which illuminate the impulse engines, warp nacelles, deflector dish formation lights, and anti-collision lights, as well as the bridge dome, and the shuttlebay, which itself has a detailed interior and a good complement of shuttlecraft! Anovos also promise the model will feature "removable panels, exposing engineering elements" which for this ship appears to be a room behind the deflector dish (you can see it with the removed panel in one of the photos below).

Star Trek Beyond's costume design
Star Trek Beyond introduced several new Starfleet uniforms, plus a whole load of clothing for all those aliens roaming around on Yorktown and Altamid. So the costume designers certainly had plenty to get their teeth into! Continue below for a look through some of their work from the film.
Sanya Hays was the costume designer on the film, and worked with several other concept artists to develop the look of what we saw on-screen. These first couple of images looking at Jaylah come from Christian Cordella:

New Star Trek Beyond phaser, and other Anovos replica updates
High-end costume and prop makers Anovos have revealed details of their forthcoming replica of the new phaser from Star Trek Beyond. The Type 1B is a variant of the familiar nuTrek hand-phaser design, which maintains the basic lines of the previous design, while tweaking it to make it quite distinct; perhaps most notably in the new wide phaser emitter.
Anovos are releasing this in kit form, which features a metal body with resin, ABS, and PVC plastic details. Like any model kit, trimming, glueing, and painting will be required to bring the phaser the life. There is also the option to buy the kit with an extra servo kit, which will enable the phaser nozzle to electronically flip between stun and kill modes. As Anovos told StarTrek.com the idea is the make the replica an "interactive" project, rather than just a thing you buy and stick on a shelf:

As Anovos told StarTrek.com the idea is the make the replica an "interactive" project, rather than just a thing you buy and stick on a shelf:
What makes our Star Trek prop replicas unique is the degree of interactivity that we will implement in each high-end kit and assembled replica. For this phaser, the builder will have the satisfaction of constructing their own metal and resin kit with or without electronics, depending on the builder's choice and skill level. Once assembled, the electronics-enabled version allows the user to alternate between "stun" or "kill" settings by depressing a button and executing a sequence of servo driven movements that will flip the phaser head into the desired position without needing to reset. That is just one example of many more features we are considering as ANOVOS moves into the collectible arena with products designed to compel fans to "interact" with their investment, rather than let it collect dust.Anovos are expecting the kit to start shpping in November. Continue below for more images of this, and other new prop and costume replicas from Anovos:
