RockLove bring Star Trek character jewellery to life

Star Trek jewellery makers RockLove have launched a new range of costume reproduction jewellery, bringing to life the on-screen jewellery worn by Uhura in TOS, Guinan in TNG, and Kira in DS9. Continue below to check them out.

From TOS, we have these delightful gold spiral earrings worn by Uhura. Here's how RockLove describe them:

Honoring Star Trek’s iconic Communications Officer, Lieutenant Nyota Uhura, these spiral earrings are handcrafted in sterling silver and plated in luminous yellow gold.  In the same technique as the originals, each spiral is wound by hand and will vary slightly.  The coils hang from secure lever-back ear wires, just like those worn on-screen by actress Nichelle Nichols in Star Trek: The Original Series.

RockLove launch new Star Trek jewellery line, including screen replica Picard piece

Jewellery designers/makers RockLove have made a triumphant return to the world of Star Trek with the launch of their new Star Trek X collection, which includes a variety of Star Trek alien inspired pieces, and a very special replica item from Picard.

As seen worn by Dahj in the first episode of Picard, the Omega Necklace is perfect screen replica, using the same sculpts as the on-screen prop which was made by RockLove's designer Allison Cimino.

New RockLove Enterprise ring and gold necklaces

Rocklove have announced several new pieces in their Star Trek jewellery collection, including an impressive USS Enterprise ring.

The spindly silver ring features a detachable saucer, held in place on a magnetic track. It is accented by two faceted bezel set red ruby bussard collectors, and two faceted blue sapphires are set in the top and bottom of the saucer, The whole thing measure three quarters of an inch wide by one and a half inches long.

RockLove's 50th anniversary Star Trek jewellery

RockLove have announced a new wave of Star Trek jewellery releases to celebrate the 50th anniversary. The new range includes designs based on Starfleet deltas and Vulcan icons. Continue below to check them out.

Perhaps the most eye-catching of the new collection are the silver pendant necklaces with colour enamel, one for each of the departments, command, science, and operations.

Trek for the neck: Latest jewellery and accessories

I have a multitude of new ways to proclaim your trekkieness at neck level to share today, including new jewellery and a bow tie!

First up, fresh from the forges at Quantum Mechanix is a new Star Trek friendship necklace set, inspired by The Wrath of Khan. The delta, which splits down the middle, features the phrase "I have been and always shall be your friend". When brought together the two halves are magnetically attracted to reunite the full delta.

RockLove's Star Trek jewellery range

RockLove have revealed their new Star Trek jewellery range, which is available to order via the StarTrek.com shop. Their designs include rings, necklaces, and keychains, based on the USS Enterprise, phasers, and iconic quotes from the series.

RockLove owner and designer of the Star Trek range, Allison Hourcade, shared her thoughts with The Mary Sue, and also hinted at future designs:

The goal was to produce something a Star Trek fan could wear everyday – a durable precious metal that is understated enough to be professional and sophisticated, yet clever in its design. We wanted to start out with a few classics (the Captain’s Oath, the Klingon Warrior’s Virtues, a simple unisex band) and are already working on the next wave of prototypes (Delta insignias, bracelets, and more).

The star of the range is the silver two-part USS Enterprise ring, which has a saucer separation feature, held together with a little clip.

Their phaser necklace is also silver, and has a two sided design, allowing you to select the stun or kill setting. The necklace is available in three different chain lengths: Either sixteen, eighteen, or twenty inches.

Trek-wear: Enterprise-ring, T-shirts, uniforms, and props

New trek stuff to wear! First up, a new licensee was revealed at the Star Trek Las Vegas convention; RockLove will be producing Star Trek jewellery, and previewed a quirky two-part Enterprise ring in a merchandise presentation at the convention. TrekMovie got this shot from the show:

Also a bit shiny is Her Universe's new T-shirt, which features the TOS title with a metallic edge and spacey interior. The design is available from ThinkGeek, as is another new ladies design, featuring some Gold Key style-art:

More retro designs can be found in the latest additions to Plastic Head's apparel range for the UK market. There are lots of designs, mostly based on TOS, including some Trexels and few TNG too - They offer T-shirts, as well as jumpers and bags.
