Over the weekend there were pretty slim pickings for Star Trek collectors at the New York Toy Fair, but the handful of newly revealed items were pretty impressive at least. Continue below for all the details.
QMx had several Star Trek figures on display, from their 1:6 scale (12 inch tall) range. Newly revealed is a Star Trek Beyond Captain Kirk, featuring an incredibly detailed recreation of his survival suit. (Image via ActionFigss.com)

First look at Mezco's Captain Kirk figure
Ahead of the New York Toy Fair, Mezco have hosted a press event at their offices, where among other items on display they gave their first look at the third Star Trek action figure in their One:12 Collective range, Captain Kirk:
Kirk is expected in July, following the Spock and Sulu figures in the range, which are scheduled for May and June releases. Each fabric clothed character comes with a display stand, as well as an assortment of accessories and various alternate hands and heads. You can see more images of the figures on display in Mezco's Facebook gallery (where the above images came from), as well as ToyArk, and Toy News International, who have the most extensive gallery of the Star Trek figures, including the image of all three below.

Mezco's second Star Trek action figure is Sulu
Mezco have announced their second Star Trek action figure in their One:12 range, and in a refreshing bucking of expectations it is not Kirk! Expected in June or July, Mr Sulu will be joining the previously announced Spock figure in this series.
Like Spock, this highly detailed figure will come with an insignia display base, and feature no less than twenty-eight points of articulation. He will have a fabric uniform, and a good selection of props, including a sword! He will also have a load of different hands ready to strike various poses, and two heads to give different expressions. Continue below for a close look at all those details:

Mezco's very impressive Spock figure
We can expect to see a lot of renditions of Kirk and Spock next year: Sculptures, plushes, action figures, and more; but I think Mezco might have just secured their place as the best of the bunch with the reveal of their first Star Trek figure in their One:12 Collective range of super-detailed actions figures.
Due out in April will be a six-and-a-half inch tall TV-era rendition of Spock, featuring twenty-eight points of articulation. Mr Spock will be clothed in a fabric uniform, with two detailed head sculpts (one with an arched eyebrow), multiple exchangeable hands (including live long and prosper and mind meld poses), all the equipment he'll need for missions in the final frontier (including a communicator and tricorder which both have articulated details, as well a as a phaser), and a display base for him to stand on. Continue below for a closer look:

Retro action figures beaming down
There is a definite retro flavour to the latest Star Trek action figures. New from Funko, and exclusive to Entertainment Earth, the ReAction Figures range of Kenner style three-and-three-quarter inch action figures has its first Star Trek variants; mid-beaming versions of Kirk and Spock, complete with transporter effect glitter! Both are due to arrive this month, and will join the previous eight figures in the range so far.
Meanwhile, if you prefer a larger format old-school figure, you'll have to wait until January, when the first release in Diamond Select Toys reissues of their retro cloth action figures is due. The first pair to return will be Spock and Khan. Based on this, DST might be changing up the grouping of these figures, as in the first run of releases Spock came out paired with the Andorian, while Khan was a lonely retailer exclusive, so he's getting a wider release this time around.
