Latest Star Trek mugs and glasses

Drinking vessels are one of the more prolific of Star Trek products, and lately there have been some pretty creative examples (although mostly mugs ...so so many mugs). Continue below for a look at the latest releases:

From ThinkGeek, we have a set of "planetary glassware", released back in July. The set includes four ten ounce glasses decorated to look like Earth, Vulcan, Romulus, and Qo'noS, plus a Borg Cube shot glass.

New Trexels drinking vessels

Icup, makers of novelty kitchenalia, including a number of previous TOS themed releases, have expanded their Star Trek range with some new Trexels releases. The pixelated forms of Kirk and company can now be found on the side of a set of four twelve-ounce glasses:

And a landing party about to meet the Gorn also features on a plastic cup, which has a screw on top and reusable straw!

Borg ice-cubes, and more Trek stuff for the home

I'm starting to think chilling might be the Borg's cunning new plan to assimilate Earth, as, following the Borg whisky-chillers and Borg Cube fridge, here we are with another new Borg cooling device, the Borg Cube ice-cube mold. The new silicone mold from Diamond Select Toys gives a six sided miniature Borg Cube, made form ice, jelly, chocolate or whatever else you care to pour into it.

Entertainment Earth are expecting these to arrive in March next year. At one-and-a-half-inches across, an ice-cube made in these might be a little too large for another new addition to Entertainment Earth's catalogue; from Icup, a set of four TOS shot glasses with retro comic book art, due in October:

Star Trek stuff for guitarists, drinkers, and golfers

Here's a round-up of some of the latest miscellaneous Star Trek stuff appearing in the world. Starting with ThinkGeek's latest stroke of genius, the Starfleet delta guitar pick. Available now is a pack of twelve picks, which comes with four picks for each department:

If being a trekkie guitarist isn't already cool enough for you, you'll be pleased to know you can get an extra chill from the latest Star Trek ice-cube tray. This TOS themed one comes with molds to make a Starfleet delta, live-long-and-posper hands, and the USS Enterprise.I'm not sure who's making this, but I came across them for sale on My Party Shirt.

If ice isn't your thing, but you still want a cold drink, then perhaps Icup's new Spock can hugger (with poking out ears) is for you? Entertainment Earth are expecting this version of Spock to be available from June.

Finally, Entertainment Earth also recently added listings for the previously announced Star Trek golf head covers from Creative Covers For Golf, they expect these to be available in June too. Here are some better images of those (via Creative Covers), starting with my favourite, the tribble (you can see the other designs after the jump):

Star Trek miscellanea

Here are a few bits and pieces on the way I've yet to cover, giving us Star Trek in many forms:

On the way from Icup in December is a new Captain Kirk apron:

Icup are also releasing this good/evil Spock pint glass:

Also out in time for Christmas is the latest product in the Star Trek/The Big Bang Theory crossover range, a Christmas ornament featuring the Big Bang guys in Starfleet uniform. This is part of a series of Big Bang Theory decorations from Ripple Junction, but if you want more Trek on your tree you've got Hallmark's offerings to compliment this.

And finally, I've previously looked at the new Star Trek dog beds and dog toys; but there's still more to come from Crowded Coop, who are also releasing collars, leaches, and dog bowls, a communicator shaped bag dispenser, and several different Starfleet uniforms for dogs (even a miniskirt version!).
