Resource-rich planets have been found in the Neutral Zone and both the Federation and Klingon Empire are out to exploit them!
In this simple flicking game, players will flick discs representing the various ships found within the Star Trek universe. These ships are used to collect resources or attack other ships.
Collecting resources (energy and command points) is accomplished by bringing a collector ship within range of an energy or command point planet. To attack, you must use your attack ship to hit an opponent’s ship off the planet or board. Successfully attacking an opponent will award a command point.
But attacking isn’t always easy—players can add in asteroids in order to block shots and protect their ships.
Your fleet can be expanded during your turn by purchasing more ships, allowing you to increase the strength of your forces and ultimately claim the planets for yourself.
The game is over when a player reaches 10 command points, and that player is declared the winner.

Wizkids' latest release with be a Ferengi themed Galactic Enterprises, designed by Christophe Boelinger. They are planning to release in June, and this is how they describe it:
In Star Trek: Galactic Enterprises, 3 to 8 players will buy and sell their wares, trying to monopolize one particular product in order to gain greater profit. However, once other Ferengi get those same items for sale, it becomes a matter of who’s the better negotiator. Do you work together to gain the same profit, or do you agree to cooperate, then sell at a lower price to steal all the profit for yourself? Be wary of special action cards that can mess with your business and remember the Ferengi Rules of Acquisition in order to gain the most return for your investments.

New big Borg Cube coming to Attack Wing, and previews of latest releases
A little over a year ago Wizkids released their first oversized models for the Star Trek: Attack Wing miniatures game, including a big Borg Cube model, and now they have plans for the Borg to return, this time with a Borg Cube that can launch its own Borg Sphere. ICv2 report, that June will see the release of the "Borg Cube with Sphere port", which will include two ships, Borg Cube 384, with the new Sphere launch port detailing, and Sphere 936, ready to launch from it.
The Borg Cube is different as far as the port goes, although the detailing looks otherwise quite similar to the previous release on the CG mock-up. The Sphere will be a new paint-job compared to previous releases, designed to match the finish of the Cube.
Meanwhile, monthly releases of Wizkids normal sized Attack Wing expansions continue as ever. Read on below for a look at this month's new ships.

The Xindi are coming to Attack Wing
Every month Wizkids release three new ships for their miniatures game Star Trek: Attack Wing, and now and then throw something extra in, like the oversized models of Deep Space 9 and a Borg Cube. This month sees their third big model, the Xindi superweapon, or Weapon Zero as they're calling it. This won't be quite as huge as the previous big models, at about ten centimetres across, it will however by the first ever model of this Star Trek equivalent of the Death Star.
UPDATE: StarTrek.com have now released images of the final product, as well as closer look at all the cards featured in the set. Here it is in the box, and with all the contents, you can read more about the cards on StarTrek.com.
Smaller Xindi ships are also on the way in the most recently announced waves of regular expansion packs, continue below for the details of all those, and previews of the most recent releases in the series.

Latest Attack Wing waves, and other updates from Wizkids
Two more waves in the ever-expanding Star Trek: Attack Wing miniatures game have been revealed, thanks to listings on Ikon Collectables. The twenty-third and twenty-fourth waves, each featuring three individual starship expansions, are due for release in February and March next year.
Wave twenty-three will include Federation Saber class USS Montgolfier, Klingon K't'inga class IKS Amar, and 22nd century Romulan Bird of Prey IRW Jazkal.
Wave twenty-four will follow with Assimilated Vessel 77139, aka the Raven, the D7 class IKS Klothos, and the Romulan D'deridex class warbird IRW Davoras.
While the Saber class and Raven are new to Attack Wing, the models have previously appeared in other Wizkids Star Trek games, and as non-retail prizes in previous Attack Wing organised play events. After the run of brand new models in many of the preceding waves, that is perhaps a little disappointing - Wave fifteen was the last to feature no new models!
Meanwhile the latest wave does feature a particularly pleasing new addition to the fleet. Continue after the jump to check out the official images of the just released wave seventeen. Plus news of a new game on the way from Wizkids.

Star Trek: Attack Wing waves 19-22, and more
Wizkids have recently announced several new waves of ships in their Star Trek Attack Wing miniatures games, with their monthly releases of three individual ships now scheduled up to January next year! Continue below to check out all the forthcoming releases, and for a close look at the most recently available ships.
Coming in October, wave 19 will include the Delta Flyer, the Klingon Bird of Prey IKS Rotarran, and Romulan ship RIS Talvath. I believe this is the first time the Delta Flyer has been made as quite such a small model, which could have its appeals if it works at a nice scale with one of the larger models of Voyager.
Wave 20, coming in November, includes the Constellation class USS Hathaway, the Kazon Raider Halik, and squadron of Romulan (or Reman) Scorpion class fighters. The Scorpion class are new models too.

Attack Wing Borg Cube, and other new ships
Wizkids have unleashed a an armada of huge Borg Cubes onto the world! Huge by the standards of miniatures games at least, with the release of their second oversized model for the Star Trek: Attack Wing game, specifically this is apparently Borg Cube 112. Miniature Market's listing of the model includes the following new images showing the final version of the Cube, and how it's packaged:
The Cube follows last month's released of the equally large Deep Space 9 model, and the usual monthly releases of regular sized miniatures have also be continuing around these big ones. Wizkids have recently updated their website with new images of all the latest waves. Continue after the jump to check them out:

Attack Wing DS9 and other recent releases
Newly out from Wizkids in their Attack Wing range is the oversized gaming "miniature" of Deep Space 9, which is probably also the best pre-made model of the station ever released. With new released come new images, so here's a look at that model, and how it's packaged (these particular images via eBay):
Another big Attack Wing model is due out next month, their Borg Cube. Continue after the jump for a look at that, as well as the latest of they regular releases:

New Attack Wing ships on the way in 2015
Wizkids have announced four new waves of model ships coming next year in their Star Trek miniatures game, Attack Wing. Continuing their monthly releases, March next year will see three new ships in wave thirteen, with another three due each month following up until at least June, with wave sixteen the furthest ahead so far solicited. As is typical of the series, the new ships are pulled form across the franchise, including designs that have rarely, and indeed sometimes never, been released as models before.
March's wave thirteen will include the refit Constitution class mirror universe ship ISS Enterprise, the Cardassian Galor class Reklar, and a Gorn ship.
This will be the first retail model of the Gorn design which appeared in the remastered version of Arena. Although the same model has been available already this year in limited quantities as an organised play event prize.
Wave fourteen in April will include the Krenim Temporal Weapon, another mirror universe ship, the NX class ISS Avenger, and the Oberth class USS Pegasus.
This is only the second ever rendition of the Krenim ship, following the recently released Eaglemoss version.
In May wave fifteen includes the USS Prometheus, the Bajoran ship Ratosha, and the Klingon Bird of Prey IKS Ning'tao.
The rare ship of this bunch is the Ratosha, which has been seen as a model just once before, also as a gaming miniature (indeed probably the very same mold) in the Tactics game.
Wave sixteen in June will see the "USS Dauntless", the Ferengi D'Kora class Marauder Kreechta, the Olympic class USS Pasteur.
And again here Eaglemoss have just narrowly beaten Wizkids, in getting the first ever model of the USS Dauntless out already.
That's it for the 2015 releases, but wave seven is just appearing right now. Continue after a jump for a look at the newest ships to join the collection:

Ship bits: Runabout, blueprints, model kits, and Borg Cube
Some assorted starships news here, starting with out first look at Eaglemoss's Danube class runabout model. What looks like it might be one of the highlights of the The Official Starships Collection, this will be making its way to the UK first in a couple of months, as issue thirty-two of the series. These images were posted on The Collection's Facebook page:
Meanwhile, new in ThinkGeek's catalogue is this cool poster of the original USS Enterprise, presented blue-print style. The center-piece of the poster is the cutaway diagram of the Enterprise from the USS Enterprise Haynes Manual.

Ship bits: QMx Reliant, and lots of other ships news
Lots of model ships news for you, including updates from The Official Starships Collection, Hallmark, Attack Wing, and Round 2 Models.
But first, at the San Diego Comic Con QMx revealed the next ship in their high-end artisan replica range, the USS Reliant. The highly detailed model beautifully replicates the Reliant, and even expands on it, with fitted out shuttlebays.
No details on when this will come, but you can expect to pay thousands if you want to nab one when the opportunity arises. Images here via TrekMovie and Tomopop, which both have more images of this model, and other previously announced QMx products which were on display at Comic Con.
And one more image, straight from QMx, giving a look behind the scenes, and a nice sense of scale:

New ships: QMx Enterprise, Starships Collection Prometheus, and latest Attack Wing
Some new ships to look at! First up, StarTrek.com have announced a new release on the way from QMx, the USS Enterprise refit desktop replica. This metal model of the shop will be 8.5 inches long, and about 4 inches tall. There's no information on when it will be available yet:
A ship that is already in the hands of UK subscribers, and will be more widely available in a couple of weeks (in the UK, with the rest of the world to follow), is the USS Prometheus, issue twenty-five of The Official Starships Collection. The Collection's Facebook page posted this new image of the model:
And finally, Wizkids have solicited (pdf link) another release in their Attack Wing miniatures game. Due out next February will be three more ships: The Kazon Ogla's Razik, the Romulan warbird IRW Haakona, and a Tholian ship.

Attack Wing gets big
On top of their now monthly releases of new starship miniatures for the Attack Wing game, Wizkids have now announced two more, and much bigger, expansion packs. Coming in November will be huge models of Deep Space 9, and a Borg Cube (links go to pdf solicitations).
The Deep Space 9 model has previously been released, last year, as a prize in the Dominion War gaming event. But now it will be available to everyone, and Wizkids are promising the retail version will be even better than the already very impressive model, with "an all-new premium paint job exclusive to this retail variant" and "all-new stats exclusive to this retail variant". At a whopping eleven inches across this very detailed model will probably be the best version Deep Space 9 around, so might also be of interest to anyone that just wants a great model of the station. This photo is of the existing non-retail version (via Board Game Geek):
The Borg Cube is also pretty big, eight inches across. So far Wizkids have only released a computer mock-up in their solicitation:

Latest Wizkids miniatures games
Wizkids have announced a new expansion for their Fleet Captains Heroclix miniatures game. Following the original Federation and Klingon set, and the previous Romulan expansion, the Dominion will become the fourth faction in the game.
The new addition is expected in August this year, and will apparently include twelve new Jem'Hadar, Breen, and Cardassan ships (although the most prominent Dominion ships have already appeared in Wizkids' Tactics and Attack Wing games, so I'd anticipate some mold reuse). Like the previous Fleet Captains releases, these will be unpainted miniatures, and judging by the solicitation image, they will be a charmingly menacing shade of lilac. The miniatures come with ten sub-decks of ten cards each, ten encounter cards, and twenty-five espionage mission cards. Here's how Wizkids describe the expansion:
