Latest promo sees Discovery on a forest world, and other updates

CBS have released another new Discovery spot, with quite a lot of new footage (as ever, region locked, so you'll need to seek out unofficial Youtube copies outside the US)

Here's some of the new stuff seen, including a new forest world to explore:

Meanwhile on StarTrek.com, they keep posting those interviews, and have now got to Jason Isaacs, aka Captain Lorca. He seems reluctant to pin down anything in discussing his character, coming back a couple of times to the idea of the story unfolding over the season making it difficult to give a single definition of who he is:
That aspect, the fact that I wasn't playing the same color over and over again, that there were hidden depths to this man, that he was going to react in surprising ways in different situations, that he had maybe other agendas at certain points with people that were... that they knew about themselves or they didn't know about themselves. He's in denial about certain things. That he was recognizably human, and that it was a story born out of our times to tell of our times, these very troubling, dark times we live in, divisive times we live in.
Finally, Netflix have also released a new trailer, uniquely positioning Discovery as part of the entire Trekverse, which is awesome:

Star Trek: Discovery is due to start this September, and it will be distributed almost everywhere in the world on Netflix, except for the US where is will be available on CBS All Access, and Canada where it will be on Bell Media channels and services.
