I sometimes wonder how on earth there is a market for some the Trek stuff out there, and sometimes I wonder how on earth other products don't get made. Like these:

The Weird: StarTrek.com have announced the latest funeral product, a Star Trek urn, complete with the Enterprise, the Starfleet delta, and your name written in the Star Trek font!

The Wonderful: TrekMovie have produced a report on a prototype Nokia phone styled after a TOS communicator. Here's a video of it in action:

STO: Breen arc conclusion

The STO website has been updated with listings for the next two feature episodes, which bring Series 1: The Breen to a conclusion. They are:

#4: Cold Case

The crew must outrace the Breen in a hunt for information that stretches across the Orellius Sector Block.

#5: Cold Storage

In the story finale, the crew comes face-to-face with Thot Trel as they struggle to protect their amazing discovery.

IDW reprints in Brazil

If like me you're fascinated and intrigued by the international reprints of all things Star Trek then you're in luck, as thanks to TrekWeb's Gustavo Leao (who posted an image of the most recent reprint in question on the IDW forums) I've been finding out about the Brazilian reprints (in Portuguese of course) of IDW titles coming from the publisher Devir. They're a little behind and a little slow, having started in 2008 and so far only just got to the first Alien Spotlight series. Here's what they've done so far:
