New Aventine pic, plus Voyager update
In celebration of the USS Aventine's third birthday Mark Rademaker has created a new render of his design for the ship, doing battle battle with the Borg:

I really like that Voyager got a refit and I love what I see so far.
But why are they even refitting her? And how is just stretching the ship out gonna do anybody any good?
The refit is to make the design more suitable for the Federation's version of Slipstream, and perhaps more generally to make updates tot he design for Voyager's new mission.
