April Star Trek comics

IDW have released their solicitations for April, which include two new Star Trek titles. Continue below for all the details on those, and other Star Trek comics updates:

Star Trek: Year Five #1
Written by Jackson Lanzing and Collin Kelly. Art by Stephen Thompson
The crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise left Earth four years ago. They’ve traveled to strange new worlds, defeated impossible foes, and made universe-changing decisions. But now, with the end in sight, they’ll have to face their biggest challenge yet. Step aboard the Enterprise with Kirk, Spock, Bones, Uhura, Sulu, Scotty, and Chekov as they begin the end of their original Five Year Mission and boldly go into an uncertain future in this new continuing Star Trek series!
When this series was announced a few days ago I got the impression it would be a new ongoing series, although the first details were a little ambiguous about that. But the solicitations seem to confirm it, with IDW describing it as "A new continuing series about the end of the Five-Year Mission!"

This first issue will be available in three covers with Greg Hildebrandt providing the A cover, and also a retail incentive cover in the form of a sketch variant - StarTrek.com have posted an interview with Hildebrandt discussing this piece, including a thought on it's built in nostalgia:
So, the colors in this painting had to be bold and vivid, no pun intended, because the show was bold and vivid. But mostly capturing the overall look of the 60’s was very important to me. It had to be nostalgic in appearance, almost as if I had painted it many years ago. Artist styles change over their lifetime depending on the subject you paint, but also on the era you are in. The 60’s was a very bold decade in this country. We were loud and we were trying to find answers to many questions, and we were trying to save the planet. All of the things that Star Trek made us think about.
The third cover, also a retail incentive, will be by J.J. Lendl, and that we've not seen yet. We do have a tease at what the interiors could look like though, thanks to issue artist Stephen Thompson, who shared this "warm up" piece on Twitter in readiness for jumping into the series:

The Q Conflict #4
Written by Scott and David Tipton. Art by David Messina.
As the Captains try to figure out how to beat Q at his own game, the godlike beings offer a dangerous new challenge – drawing the extra-dimensional Prophets out of their wormhole to join the competition! The stakes have never been higher in the biggest Star Trek crossover ever.
Just two covers have been announced for this one, the A cover by David Messina (seen below), and a retail incentive cover from George Caltsoudas (not yet seen).

If you prefer to read the whole series at once, the omnibus is now available for pre-order; Amazon expect it to arrive in October. At the moment it's using George Caltsoudas cover art from issue one in the series.
The crews of the Original Series, The Next Generation, Voyager, and Deep Space Nine meet for the first time in a contest of unwilling champions!

When a dispute between godlike beings threatens the galaxy, it will take all of Starfleet's best captains to stop them. Join James T. Kirk, Jean-Luc Picard, Kathryn Janeway, and Benjamin Sisko as they go head-to-head in a competition that will determine the fate of the Earth and beyond. Will they be able to emerge victorious, or will they be torn apart by The Q Conflict? All of the Captains together for the first time in the biggest Star Trek crossover event ever!
