FanSets emoji characters and other new Star Trek pins

The ever productive FanSets have been busy with Star Trek pins, with new character, ship, and episode based designs spanning the franchise, and in several different styles. Continue below to check out their latest releases.

Recently completed is a series of emoji pins, with one character based on each of the TV series to date, and getting ahead of themselves Strange New Worlds too. You can get the whole collection as a set of nine pins:

Or you can now pick up each character individually. Spock for TOS, La Forge for TNG, Sisko for DS9, Janeway for Voyager, Archer for Enterprise, Burnham for Discovery, Picard for Picard, Mariner for Lower Decks, and Pike for SNW - They're a nice style, would be cool to see more characters like this I think.

Starfleet deltas for every era and occasion!

Are you looking for a Starfleet delta to adorn your uniform? Or maybe just a little one to discretely add some Trek to your every day? Well you've suddenly got a lot of options; Starfleet deltas from multiple eras are suddenly popping up all over the place, with both full size replicas and mini pins in abundance. Continue below to check out the latest from FanSets, QMx, and Cufflinks.com:

Off the back of successes with full sized combadges earlier in the year FanSets have now embarked on a regular series of delta releases, with future deltas due to see simultaneous releases in three formats: Either full size with a pin-back, full size with a magnetic-back, or mini sized pins.

The first design to get this full spectrum of releases is the Lower Deck's combadge, which thanks to this release we can see realised as a 3D object for the first time. All three versions are currently up for pre-order, ahead of a November release.

FanSets reveal their Lower Decks crew, and other new pins

Star Trek collectable pin makers FanSets have revealed the first of their Lower Decks pins, with no less than the entire main cast getting a simultaneous release! Continue below to check them out, and for updates on other new and forthcoming pins.

For Lower Decks FanSets have released all the main characters - The four ensigns Mariner, Boimler, Tendi and Rutherford, and the senior officers Freeman, Ransom, T'Ana, and Shaxs - available individually, or as a set.

Unlike the majority of FanSets character releases, these have not been rendered in FanSets' signature style, but instead retain the original look from the animated series. Which makes me kind of want them to now go back and redo all the other characters from the other series in the Lower Decks style!

Fansets launch more full size prop pins, plus all the latest character pins from across the Trekverse

Collectable pin makers Fansets have been busy as ever lately with lots of pins based on Picard, and the promise of lots of Lower Decks pins coming first. They've also got a healthy sprinkling of designs spanning almost every corner of the Trekverse too. Continue below to check out all the latest.

Fansets' newest thing is branching out into full size prop pins, which are strictly collectable pins and definitely not prop replicas (as they make a point of pointing out quite a lot, I dare say for licensing agreement purposes!).

Their newest release is one that should please 24th century fans, a full size reproduction of the Voyager combadge, also seen in DS9, TNG movies, and Picard flashbacks. This has a nice matte finish, just like the original prop, and a double pin-back to make it extra secure - But remember folks, this isn't a prop replica, no sirree. I mean, who would ever think of wearing this pin-on-able thing that looks like a prop often worn on a costume? What a weird idea that would be...

Fourth Castle planning Star Trek army-men, squishy starships, and more!

Fourth Castle, a company that under several different brands makes all manner of toys and novelty items, have revealed a wide range of new Star Trek toys and accessories at the recent New York Toy Fair - Including Star Trek army-men type figurines, squishy stress-ball like toys, and more. Continue below to see what they're planning.

One of Fourth Castle's brands is EMCE Toys (a name you might recognise as the producers of DST's Mego revival line a few years ago; an effort now handed back to the revived-itself-Mego), and they have several brands themselves. One of those is Nanoforce, a twist on the classic army-men type figurines, but using licensed characters. Star Trek is set to join this range, with several different series to be represented in forthcoming releases.

At Toy Fair they had, as reported by TrekCore on Twitter, 3D printed prototypes of their first TOS collection. This initial release will include twelve two-inch figurines, of most of the main TOS characters, plus six classic aliens. The set will also include a four-inch model of the USS Enterprise, and two-inch models of a tricorder and phaser (the latter two items were not previewed yet). Check them out, via images from TrekCore and Figures.com:

Revealed at the San Diego Comic Con today, and as previously hinted, the series will focus on a group of lower rank crew members working in the background on a "not important starship". QMx Worf sculpture and Klingon badge available now

In a Klingon double whammy, QMx have released their new Worf sculpture and Klingon emblem badge this month. Continue below for lots of new images and details of both.

The Worf model is the second character release in their Star Trek Mini Master's range, following the previous Locutus figurine. Like that release this was also to be offered as one of the items in Loot Crate's Mission Crate, although said crate is so far behind schedule that QMx's individual release now has ended up coming ahead of it's originally planned debut in the crate!

The plastic sculpture is at 1:12 scale, making Worf about six inches tall, and it posed dramatically with bat'leth raised high, ready to make a killing blow on one of his opponents.
