RockLove bring Star Trek character jewellery to life

Star Trek jewellery makers RockLove have launched a new range of costume reproduction jewellery, bringing to life the on-screen jewellery worn by Uhura in TOS, Guinan in TNG, and Kira in DS9. Continue below to check them out.

From TOS, we have these delightful gold spiral earrings worn by Uhura. Here's how RockLove describe them:

Honoring Star Trek’s iconic Communications Officer, Lieutenant Nyota Uhura, these spiral earrings are handcrafted in sterling silver and plated in luminous yellow gold.  In the same technique as the originals, each spiral is wound by hand and will vary slightly.  The coils hang from secure lever-back ear wires, just like those worn on-screen by actress Nichelle Nichols in Star Trek: The Original Series.

In addition to unique poster art and music in China, Star Trek Beyond has been the subject of a huge merchandise range unique to the Chinese market. RockLove's Star Trek jewellery range

RockLove have revealed their new Star Trek jewellery range, which is available to order via the StarTrek.com shop. Their designs include rings, necklaces, and keychains, based on the USS Enterprise, phasers, and iconic quotes from the series.

RockLove owner and designer of the Star Trek range, Allison Hourcade, shared her thoughts with The Mary Sue, and also hinted at future designs:
The goal was to produce something a Star Trek fan could wear everyday – a durable precious metal that is understated enough to be professional and sophisticated, yet clever in its design. We wanted to start out with a few classics (the Captain’s Oath, the Klingon Warrior’s Virtues, a simple unisex band) and are already working on the next wave of prototypes (Delta insignias, bracelets, and more).
Continue below to check out all the designs:

The star of the range is the silver two-part USS Enterprise ring, which has a saucer separation feature, held together with a little clip.

Their phaser necklace is also silver, and has a two sided design, allowing you to select the stun or kill setting. The necklace is available in three different chain lengths: Either sixteen, eighteen, or twenty inches.

Dammit Jim, I'm a doctor, not a cufflink!

Gold Key Comics artwork seems to be inspiring more and more Star Trek stuff lately. You'll find numerous examples looking back through my Gold Key label. The latest things to get a touch of Gold key are the most recent additions to Cufflinks.com's range of Star Trek cufflinks. They have added four new designs: Two featuring single comic panels, with McCoy or Spock uttering their catchphrases, and two featuring either Kirk or Spock in action:

Amazing starship Enterprise ring

I've covered many an item of Star Trek jewellery before, and quite a few products shaped in the form of the USS Enterprise. The two areas have even cross before, in the form of USS Enterprise cufflinks. This new design by Paul Michael Design seems like a pretty good runner for best in class in either category though. Behold, the Starship Enterprise ring:

This snazzy design is available via Paul Michael's Etsy store, where it can be ordered in a variety of different metals and stones to match your desires (or budgets). This appears to be Michael's first Star Trek design, following from many pieces based on Star Wars. I hope CBS seeks him out and gets this licensed and distributed to the world at large, what a great design!

Latest Star Trek curiosities

Here's a look at the latest of the more unusual Star Trek products. Starting with the most recent every-day item to find itself reformed into the shape of the USS Enterprise. Available now from the StarTrek.com store is the USS Enterprise divot tool. I know nothing about golf, but looking at normal divot tools it appears the Enterprise is already the perfect shape for the job, so an ideal match! What a shame the USS Enterprise putter is no longer available, to give you a more complete Star Trek golf experience.

ThinkGeek's ongoing efforts to infuse Star Trek into every part of your home has now moved to the bathroom, with their new transporter room shower curtain and bathroom mat combo:

For a slightly subtler infusion of Star Trek into your life, Cufflinks.com have added a couple of new designs to their Star Trek cuff-links range. Available now are the magnificently detailed TOS communicator cuff-links, and a duel "live long and prosper"/Starfeet delta design:

Cufflinks.com have also added a couple of money clips to their range, with either a TOS or TNG delta design. These match their previously released delta cuff-links and tie-clips, which means they've also been able to cunningly combine them into matching gift sets.

Back at ThinkGeek, they have also recently made available QMx's "Ode to Spot" print, by Jonathan England. QMx previewed this a few months ago, and it's now apparently ended up being an ThinkGeek exclusive:

And finally, the new Star Trek pin ball machine is now available to order from Entertainment Earth. If you fancy one you might want to brace yourself though, as they've categorised it as "Really Cool Expensive Stuff"! (More details of these in my previous report)
