Paramount+ celebrates all things Trek, after Spock, Burnham and Pike climb Paramount Mountain. Plus Trek TV updates

Ramping up for the launch of the rebranded Paramount+(ad) streaming service (soon to replace CBS All Access), CBS have released a trailer focused on how Paramount+ will be the home of all things Trek

This comes after a couple of weeks of adverts featuring various Paramount characters and celebs ascending the iconic Paramount mountain in some rather peculiar crossovers. Continue below to check out the ads so far. Plus some other Trek TV updates.

First up, from the end of the story, some curious musical moments from Spock and Picard (well actually Patrick Stewart is playing himself, so not quite Picard):

How did we get to that? Well several adverts preceded to bring various characters up the mountain. Among them Spock, Burnham, and Pike. Look out for Pike and Burnham's perplexed expressions throughout. Spock on the other hand really seems to take in his stride the curious events he has become a part of:

And to give some extra Star Trek love right now. Here's an assortment of behind the scenes bits and bobs from most of the currently in production series.

First up, from motion graphics artist Timothy Peel, here's a fun look at all the work that went into bringing the re-imagined bridge of Pike's USS Enterprise to life. Of course this was originally for Discovery, but will soon be the familiar home of Strange New Worlds too.

Also from Discovery, StarTrek.com recently uploaded an extended version of the props video that appeared in shorted form as part of an episode of The Ready Room. The video features prop master Mario Moreira going through many of the new 32nd century devices, giving us a great look at the props themselves, but also an introduction to the technologies they represent in-universe. A great explainer.

Thanks to StarTrek.com as well, there's a nice collection of behind the scenes photos from Picard. While many have been published before, quite a few are new to me, including some nostalgia inducing moments between the TNG cast:

Finally, a bit of fun from Lower Decks animator Robby Cook. Perhaps a moment as Boimler was departing for the Titan "Goodbye, everybody, I've got to go. Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth"...

You can find Lower Decks, Picard, and Discovery, alongside the rest of Trek and future Treks to come, in the US at least, on Paramount+(ad), just as soon as it gets renamed from CBS All Access(ad)!
