Check out the Discovery's bridge in Variety
Variety's latest issue is featuring Star Trek: Discovery, and they have released their cover story online. The piece gives a brief history of how Discovery came to be, and and overview of the delays and changes in leadership. With a strictly industry/production bent it doesn't give a lot away in terms of new details, although there is mention of showrunners Aaron Harberts and Gretchen J. Berg having already mapped out a plan for a second season, and already plotting for a third! What the piece does reveal in the most detail we've so far seen, is the bridge of the USS Discovery, thanks to a playful series of photos featuring Sonequa Martin-Green, Jason Issacs, and Michelle Yoeh. Check them out:

Discovery character promos
CBS have released a whole series of character promos for Discovery, each featuring the characters standing as spacey stuff and light swirls around them. Like the previous character pieces, not the entire ensemble is featured; in this collection we get Voq, T'Kumva, Tyler, Tilly, Sarek, Stamets, Lorca, Saru, Burnham, and Georgiou. Each has a little musical cue, perhaps a hint to the themes in the show? (Sarek's is especially nice) Check them all out below!
