Lower Decks 1x08: Veritas previews, and other updates from the series

This week brings the eighth episode of Lower Decks, Veritas. As usual CBS have released a trailer and selection of images to tease of things to come. Continue below to check out those, plus other updates from the series.

Mariner, Boimler, Tendi, and Rutherford are caught off guard when aliens force them to testify about a series of seemingly unrelated events.

Looking back to last week's Much Ado About Boimler, CBS have also released the usual selection of post-airing extra bits. That includes this social media graphic promoting the benefit's of Tendi's Dog:

Mike McMahan's Easter Egg video this week focuses on the Edosian character in the episode. (Also up on StarTrek.com, Instagram, or Twitter if you're geolocked out of YouTube below):

New crew, who dis? Substute captain on board? YES! There's no beer me to let your freak flag fly! When the cat's away, teach a new dog new tricks! Show an old friend that you're up to the same old tricks! Don't get bogged down by responsibility! When you're feeling down, beam yourself up! Transport yourself like no one's watching! But don't do it halfway. Wait...that new dog knows some really weird tricks that we definitely didn't teach it.

And finally, StarTrek.com have released a huge collection of Lower Decks images for use as Zoom backgrounds. These include loads of rooms from the USS Cerritos without all the characters, as well a few shots of the ship from the outside, and some planet locations. Lower Decks is available on CBS All Access in the USA, and Bell Media channels in Canada. It is still unavailable everywhere else in the world.
