March Star Trek comics

IDW have announced their March solicitations, including two new Star Trek books, plus an omnibus. Continue below for all the details, and other comics updates.

Waypoint Special 2019
Written by Matt Sheean, Malachi Ward, Thom Zahler, Stephen Mooney, and Corinna Bechko, with art by Malachi Ward, Stephen Mooney, Andy Price, and Daniel Irizarri.
The anthology series celebrating 50+ years of Star Trek continues in this new oversized special. Featuring four all-new tales written and drawn by some of today's top creators, this new installment of the hit Waypoint Special will revisit fan-favorite characters all across the Star Trek universe.
The previous Waypoint Special was only just released, but it's great to see another volume rushing up to bring us even more creative and diverse Star Trek stories. There's just one cover for this book, by Stephen Mooney, which IDW note isn't the final version yet. From it we can at least infer this book will include TOS, TNG, and Voyager stories.

The Q Conflict #3
Written by Scott and David Tipton, with art by David Messina.
As the clash of the godlike beings continues, the captains face off in a series of war games that become much more lethal when Q introduces a fifth competitor--a Doomsday Machine! The biggest Star Trek crossover ever continues here.
Like previous issues of the series, this book will have both A and B covers by David Messina, and a George Caltsoudas retail incentive cover. So far we can just see one of the Messina covers:

But we do now have a first look at George Caltsoudas's cover for the first issue of the series. And it's rather lovely!

Star Trek vs Transformers omnibus
Written by John Barber and Mike Johnson, with art by Philip Murphy and Jack Lawrence.
When Kirk, Spock, and the entire crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise investigate problems at a remote mine, they're met with an explosive battle between powerful warriors who change into vehicles from the 20th century! As the battle between the Autobots and Decepticons rages, it's up to Kirk to decide--does he violate the Prime Directive and interfere in a war that's raged for millenia? And how will the Klingons complicate the issue? It's cartoony fun between two of the most popular science fiction franchises in the world!
This is an advance solicitation for May release. The book reuses Derek Charm's excellent TAS homage cover for issue one of the series.

Finally we have some teases of the forthcoming Picard Stargazer-era comic, from the book's artist J.K. Woodward. He's shared a few snippets of his work in progress (featuring cameos from friends, one you might recognise if you're up to scratch on CBS licensing people), and some process videos too:
