And it will come on a beautiful glossy black stand :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-734769081735169113.post-50774126847580971862013-04-19T21:42:57.069+01:002013-04-19T21:42:57.069+01:00Didn't know QMx made models. It would be nice to have a nice larger scaled representation of the Kelvin. Otherwise the largest one I'll have will be the Hot Wheels version. Playmates never did one when they had the licensing, Hasbro's just doing Kre-O and Fighter Pods, and as far as I know Diamond Select doesn't seem to have any intention of acquiring the necessary licensing to do any nuTrek products.

I'm assuming from what I've read of the others that these aren't the put-them-together-yourself kind of "model", but more like the ships Diamond Select produces.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14414858582505852106noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-734769081735169113.post-43535911946782898412013-04-19T09:07:37.442+01:002013-04-19T09:07:37.442+01:00Oh thanks Andy, got that a bit wrong then. The cost should be much more affordable and in line with our other collector scale models, like the little Serenity we introduced last year.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-734769081735169113.post-69292825901379783462013-04-18T03:01:41.727+01:002013-04-18T03:01:41.727+01:00Oh I quite agree, there's no point lamenting t...Oh I quite agree, there's no point lamenting the unobtainability of these things. But they're cool to admire from afar :)8of5https://www.blogger.com/profile/16702128515118267859noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-734769081735169113.post-34329240078275656312013-04-18T02:59:35.808+01:002013-04-18T02:59:35.808+01:00I absolutely love the design of the Kelvin. In-fact it's my favorite starship design, and I would love to own every version of it available (including the Burger King toy, which I finally got a couple of weeks ago). That said, there is absolutely no way I'll ever own this...and I'm ok with that. Might seem childish, but I don't count this when it comes to releases of the Kelvin's design...Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14414858582505852106noreply@blogger.com
